About Us

EVIDEM is the short title for a programme of research funded by the National Institute for Health Research~ “Evidence -based Interventions in Dementia: Changing practice in dementia care in the community: developing and testing interventions from eary recognition to end of life”.

EVIDEM is a consortium of academic and NHS professionals that have successfully bid for an NIHR grant to investigate the impact of interventions for people with dementia. The programme is hosted by Central & North West London NHS Foundation trust with close academic input from Prof. Steve Iliffe of University College London. Commencing in 2007, the programme is scheduled to reach its conclusion in 2012.
